That show was one of the few connections I had left to my dead fiancee. This news breaks my heart. I will no longer be listening

I am saddened to not have Delilah as part of my de-stressors. It was so nice to have her soothing voice and uplifting thoughts, not to mention her good choice of music. I hope KEZ re-thinks their decision!!
January 11th, 2010 at 11:13 pm
Amen to Mary Ann’s comment! I miss Delilah as my destressor as part of my 40 minute commute after my 12 hour work shift. It was always the highlight of my evening. KEZ should review their reprogramming.

I am so unhappy that Delila has left 99.9. I want her back. She was my night time companion. Bette

I am SO disappointed at your decision to drop Delilah. I loved listening to her when I went to bed each night. I am switching to 95.5! What I would love to know is WHY she was dropped? If you reconsider, please let me know. I just thought she might be on vacation until I “googled” Delilah radio station/Phoenix tonight. What a disappointment! This is the first time I have ever contacted a radio station to protest a show being dropped!
January 16th, 2010 at 10:12 am
Seriously? Why? So sad….we’re turning YOU off!
January 17th, 2010 at 12:01 pm
We are very disappointed that you have let Delilah go.
January 19th, 2010 at 5:15 pm
I agree with the other disappointed listeners regarding Delilah’s program being dropped. She indeed had that soothing voice and was always uplifting.
And most of all , we could relate to her.
I too thought she was on vacation until I googled.
I sincerely hope you will reconsider and bring her back. You are probably losing, if you haven’t already lost alot of evening listeners and you have a great station. Delilah helped to make it so .
Cheers to Delilah.

IMO, I am glad to hear she is gone. I really only listened to KEZ at Christmas time for the holiday music. When Delilah was on, it was nothing but a bunch of re-runs from previous years. I don’t blame KEZ for dropping her show. I’m sure it was due to low ratings. The people here upset she is gone are a small fraction of KEZ listeners.

I am so upset and very angry to hear that Delilah is gone. I had my own personal reasons why I listened to Delilah one of my biggest, her very inspiring words. She inspired me to become a better person. I will no longer be tuning in at all. Sorry Beth and Bill.
January 24th, 2010 at 9:49 pm
What a true disappointment! I too, thought Delilah was on Vacation (hoped). I had to find out the truth so I googled. Very sad to know that Delilah is gone. I too am switching to 95.5. I would listen to Delilah every night before bed, and I want her back. I am no longer listening to 99.9 KEZ until she returns.

My sweetie had a real rough weekend of travel. What’s the answer? Nice home cooked meal, bottle of wine, bouquet of flowers. The last touch? Put on a little Delilah in the back ground. WAIT. GUESS NOT.
January 25th, 2010 at 9:54 pm
It’s upsetting to hear that the show was dropped in phx. It was such a stress reliever, oh well I will now have to hear it online through other radio stations in the country.

I moved to AZ after graduating from college, 1998, from the Seattle area. When I arrived, I was looking for a station to listen to on my long ride home from work in the late evenings. To my surprise, I found KEZ and Delilah, who is the person I listened to every night doing my homework while in college. She was the reason I became a KEZ fan and started listening to Beth and Bill in the mornings. I too was hoping like the others that Delilah was on vacation, but since it seems like you have tossed her show aside, I too must do the same to your station. If Delilah is brought back then I too will return as a listener, but until that time I will be tuning into a new station.

I CAN’T BELIEVE YOU DROPPED DELILAH. I HAVE TRIED LISTENING TO THE NEW SHOW IN TEH EVENING. I AM SORRY BUT I DON’T LIKE IT AT ALL. I AM LOOKING FOR ANOTHER SHOW TO LISTEN TO IN THE EVENING.
February 3rd, 2010 at 9:49 pm
HOW DISAPPOINTING TO LOOSE DELILAH. I HAVE ENJOYED HER COMPANY AND WILL MISS HER SMILING VOICE.
February 4th, 2010 at 11:06 pm
Who’s BRIANSTORM idea was this? No Delilah…what were you thinking? She was the BEST for evening radio. She will be missed. KEZ had it all, Beth & Bill in the morning and Delilah in the evening. Looking for new station.
February 8th, 2010 at 9:56 pm
Too bad, the new night stuff they’re playing is ok, but it has lost a lot of the lure now that it lost her “personality” , not to mention the fact that they don’t focus on callers anymore, which will be missed
online radio anyone?
February 9th, 2010 at 11:46 am
Well they just lost me as a listener. Does anyone know if anyone else has picked her up??
February 10th, 2010 at 11:10 pm
Why her photo is still there online KESZ-FM Online??? I thought she is still with the station. Bye KEZ…
February 10th, 2010 at 11:37 pm
BORING without Delilah!! What a letdown! I also thought she must be on a very nice, LONG vacation…..but looks like that is not the case. Too bad KEZ. Nothing now to keep me listening.
February 16th, 2010 at 11:10 pm
I’ve been listening to Delilah for years, now that she is gone I will no longer bother tunning back to 99.9.
I will spread the news,
February 17th, 2010 at 12:27 am
Music selections are terrible on KEZ from 7 to midnight! And way too many commercials! No interesting conversations since Delilah left….Finding a new station….
February 18th, 2010 at 10:54 pm
I want Dalilah back, that was my favorite radio show!!! What hapened??? Could it be posible???
February 25th, 2010 at 11:49 pm
I can’t believe she’s gone – bring her back! Why did you do that – the economy to blame?!

My wife & I moved back to the area in December. We’ve lived in 5 different states in the last 12 years, and it was always nice to be able to listen to Delilah wherever we were. We didn’t listen every night, but whenever we were in the car at night, Delilah was on our radio.
I don’t know the reasons for dropping her show, but I must say, I never imagined 99.9 used to be Delilah’s station here. The Delilah stations in the other places we’ve lived tend to have similar music to Delilah’s all day long, and while I listen to 99.9 off and on, the station’s format doesn’t seem to be as good a match for her show anyway, so perhaps dropping her was a good thing. Hopefully Delilah will find another suitable station soon.
March 6th, 2010 at 1:08 am
KEZ without Delilah is a day without chocolate!!! What are you thinking???
March 8th, 2010 at 10:06 pm
I am so sad to hear Delilah go. I would listen to her in my car on late night drives. 99.9 two strikes for you. Bill leaves and then I found out Delilah wasn’t on break, but actually left.
Any other AZ station in Phoenix picking her up? you got a loyal listener now.
March 11th, 2010 at 12:43 pm
I thought Delilah was on vacation and had a temporary replacement. Guess I was wrong and so are you for dropping Delilah. I will definitely spread the word to all my friends who also listened. Not a good decision on your part.
March 20th, 2010 at 2:42 pm
Shocked to see you dropped Delilah from your radio station. I will miss her, she had a way of touching peoples hearts when life seemed to be too much at times. Her Godly wisdom and insight to things will be greatly missed by many. Maybe you can put a link or let listeners know where we can listen to her.
April 5th, 2010 at 3:37 pm
KEZ 99.9 SUCKS because they replaced Delilah in the evenings. She was wonderful and a welcome change from all that crap you hear on stations these days. I WILL be listening to another station from now on.
April 6th, 2010 at 8:22 pm
I am no longer a listener to 99.9 in the evening. Delilah was inspiring and a true human connection unlike any other radio program. Unhappy to have lost her.
April 16th, 2010 at 1:03 pm
I am very dissappointed to hear you dropped Dlilah. I also thought she was on a long vacation. I finally looked up on line to find out that she is no longer on 99.9. Very surprised and dissapointed. Along with Bill retiring the station is going down hill fast and losing listeners just as fast. Good luck with getting 99.9 back to where it was and should be!!!!!

WE WANT DELILAH! WE WANT DELILAH!
April 25th, 2010 at 6:17 pm
I hate to hear that Delilah is leaving – I so enjoyed listening to her every night – I don’t know if I will continue to listen to the program – but I will probably give this new lady a chance I hope she’s just as good as Delilah – she has some really big shoes to fill – I sincerely hope she is up to the occassion
June 2nd, 2010 at 6:07 pm
So very, very disappointed. I started listening to Delilah in the 8th grade and loved her! Sad to say 99.9 won’t be tops on my list anymore..
June 3rd, 2010 at 10:13 pm
I stopped listening to KEZ in the evenings too with delilah being gone. But gues what???? We went to show low for a weekend & lo n behold! She’s on 101.7 at Show low!!
June 11th, 2010 at 10:25 pm
Christ on a crutch, people—go buy a Barry Manilow CD and get over yourselves. Delilah’s nothing but vapid, pointless, New Age-y, touchy-feely BS.
June 15th, 2010 at 2:18 pm
As for Tony’s comment on 6/11/10—typical thinking from a loser with no compassion. Delilah was a calming voice that reached thousands of people.
I will not be listening to KEZ.
June 17th, 2010 at 10:19 pm
I am a radio station changer (every few minutes per my favorite song). I didn’t know which channel Delilah was on. However, when she was on I didn’t switch stations. I hope she is okay. Enjoyed listening to her!
June 21st, 2010 at 9:36 pm
I agree with all of those that are saddened and disappointed that you dropped the Delilah show. SHAME ON YOU! No offence to the young lady that is on now….but I probably won’t tune in, in the evenings.
July 17th, 2010 at 12:21 am
I got back from another state last night. I turned on my radio that has been set on 99.9 for as long as I remember. When I found out Delilah was no longer on I almost cried. I have fallen asleep to her show for some years now. I remember talking to my girlfriend in 12th grade about her show. She was killed in a car crash a few years later. I can remember her voice saying ” oh ya, I listen to her at night too!” that was one of the only things I can remember about her. The memory seems to be fading away now.

Delilah was the best thing on evening radio to mellow one out. After working long hours, and driving home late this made my eveings, to be relax and calm. We wish she would return.
This is your lost as well as your listners.
