I am not ashamed as a male to say that I am upset that they have let Delilah go. I would listen to this station with my mother and connect with a lot of those stories. I’m sorry to hear this Delilah and hope to find a new station with your wisdom and understandings.

I’d really love to know your station’s reason for replacing Delilah. Could it be that the new format cater’s now to the “young” only?

Her show was about life, love, hope and especially faith. She taught all her listeners above life, how to give and receive love, gave many hope when they were down and out and, last but not least, mentioned many times how faith can get you through it all. Did you have a problem with this?

I too, like many others, have reprogrammed my radios to exclude yours.

She will be sorely missed. Seriously!

I really miss Deliliah…. I LISTENED TO HER OVER 20 YRS…. I was back home in Mich 2 weeks ago and she is there on the radio and it was so nice listening to her…. you made a wrong choice…

I came across this page when I was googling KEZ 99.9 and realized that I hadn’t even missed Delilah. I have my car radio tuned into 99.9 most of the time because I like to listen to Beth and Friends in the morning on my way to work. Sometimes I would listen to Delilah, because frankly I hate radio surfing and just tend to leave the same station on all the time. I’m sure she is a nice person, but I thought she was way too sappy. Maybe a lot of people felt that way, too, and that’s why they got rid of her show. As for Vinny, he came across as a “know-it-all” and was at times, rather annoying, but he was sort of growing on me. I’m not sure why, but maybe it was because I wanted someone familiar to be with Beth after Bill died. Beth can be pretty opinionated and I don’t always agree with her but she is intelligient, witty, clever, and vulnerable, too. I like to hear her family stories and like it when she laughs at herself. I love love love Mama Jo!

Delilah used to be what would help me relax and get to bed every single night while I was in high school. I’m only 22 years old (a younger demographic that they might have been trying to cater to by getting rid of Delilah in the first place). I would just like to say that in getting rid of her show you made the biggest mistake ever. I LOVED listening to her. More than you could possibly know. It’s not like I live in Tucson and can still access a station where I can hear her show. I would love it if you brought the show back.

IMO I think this was a bad move to make for KEZ. Point proven by the amount of disgusted comments made here. Most of the people that tune into the station only do it for the welcoming show that Delilah put on. I too only listened when Delilah ran through all those loving letters that listeners sent it. Now you have another listener gone. Good job KEZ, good job.

DELILAH WAS A GREAT PERSON TO LISTEN TO IN THE EVENING VERY UP BEAT FOUND HER ON 94.9 ONE EVENING DRIVING BACK HOME FROM TUCSON, WAS VERY GLAD TO LISTEN TO HER AGAIN PLEASE BRING HER BACK. WHAT HAPPENED TO VENNIE?
