   Kudos to you for spending so much time on the “honor-murder” of Noor Almaleki AND for linking this murder to Islam. It is very important to publicize this link because the public will scarcely get it from our other media. This honor-murder is only one of about 5000 such honor-murders each year, according to the United Nations report — and the vast majority of these murders are committed by Moslems, all over the Moslem world. The reason is Sharia law which has two provisions that are relevant:

   First, Sharia law calls for the death of apostates. If an adult Moslem, such as Noor, intentionally violates the norms of Islam, she could be considered an apostate. Noor was living with her boyfriend, which is fornication, and severely punishable under Sharia. She was also violating Islamic dress codes, and probably a whole lot else, including the fact that she apparently walked out of a forced marriage to an Iraqi Moslem.

   Second, Sharia law explicitly exempts parents and grandparents from the law of retaliation if they kill their children or grandchildren. If they kill other Moslems, they could be put to death for it under the law of retaliation. But, if they kill their own children or grandchildren, they cannot be put to death for that act under Shariah law. In Jordan, for example, the law punishes honor killings far more leniently than it punishes other types of murder. And, Jordan is, supposedly, a moderate Moslem country.

   We must help educate the public about the barbarity of Islamic law. Thank you for doing your part.

   I would like to know why in the AZ state prison system that illegal alien doing time only have to do 50% of their time then get shipped back to mexico ( no parole) while american locked up in the system have to do 85% of their time with parole?
   seems all should have to 85% or at least let the american criminals do the 50%
   why let the illegals off so easy?
   so sure sentence an illegal to 10 yrs ,he will only do 5 yrs then get sent back across the border,then he will walk back across the next day
