If you’ve tuned-in to KTAR-FM tonight for Phil Hendrie, chances are you made an additional glance at where your radio’s dial is. Starting today, Dave Ramsey is now in-place for KTAR-FM’s evening time slot.
Rather than the news, talk, and comedy mix of Hendrie’s show, the topic of money will broadcast instead.
The move comes five days after the All Access story of Phil Hendrie bringing back his large cast of characters.

So he takes his show in its original direction- which had a massive diehard audience and exceptional numbers on KFI… and the lot of half-witted try-hards at KTAR dump him for it.
Not sure I understand that. Isn’t late-night finance talk KFNN’s domain? I’d wager their their program director uses a ouija board to fill the schedule, as they certainly aren’t using their mental facilities.
Who in the christ thinks anyone wants to listen to Dave snooze-job Ramsey?

Proves how one dimensional the radio business is. KTAR broadcasted Phil’s show when it was the same old political crap night after night, and then drops it after he does a week of original and highly entertaining shows.

Why???? Were ratings down? He was creative & funny.
Late night doesn’t seem like a good fit for Ramsay and personal finance.

Dave Ramsey, wow. That is compelling late night radio. Who is the nut in charge of programming? Sounds like he/she should be mopping floors instead. When the trend of radio is moving away from heavy subjects at night (e.g., Coast to Coast AM). Of course, maybe the Ramsey folks pay money to broadcast his show. KTAR continues their inevitable slide into obscurity. Good job, guy!

Everyone should start emailing and possibly calling KTAR. That’s rediculous that they should take Phil off. My husband listened to him all the time (he works nights). What a shame. I hope the radio station listens to it’s listeners or they are going to have at least one less. Especially at that time slot!

New money show = paint drying in words.
Really bad timing with the change.
I love the new-old format as much as I hated the new- old one….what?
Giving it a 75% chance they will go back, we love Phil.
Good stupid radio after a hard day is hard to find.
P.S. Crummey has lost a step, been with him since “The Evil Station” dazes.

Bring back Phil. I have been falling asleep with my ipod rather than being bored with Ramsey. What jerk made this decision?

This is crazy. I am only 15 and I do enjoy Phil. I don’t get a chance to listen to much during the day with school and homework and all that other crap. But at the end of the day I want to listen to something funny yet educational yet political. But no, finance, and repoing homes. Weeeeee!

Glad Phil is gone, he and his fake sidekicks was annoying.
Some of you might learn a little about managing your money better by listening to Ramsey!
Ironic KTAR gets rid of a Obama loving – “government take care of me” personality for a guy who believes in capitalism and helping people make wise money decisions. Teaching people innovative ways to be responsible by pay off THEIR own debt and not replying on the government.
Kudos to KTAR!

Okay, they went for “the truth is our *****” to Debt Free is GOD. Thank you KTAR. I have gone from listening to you every day to never again.

KTAR is really boring now that Phil Hendrie is gone. I have to switch to KFYI during that time, which isn’t nearly as good.
Whoever dumped Hendrie is an idiot. I hope you enjoy your new low ratings!

Miss Phil Hendries. Who ever is in charge of programing is a real whack-job!
